NanoOntario launches new web-site

Clean, green, people-centric, collaboration-oriented and business-friendly. These are words being used to describe NanoOntario’s new web presence and impact on Ontario’s Energy, Health and Manufacturing sectors.

“We wanted to build a site which was modern, accessible and showcased the impact nanotechnology is having in Ontario.” said Dr. Arthur Carty, Board Member, Chair of the 2012 NanoOntario Conference.

It reflects who we are and tremendous potential Nanotechnology is making on the Ontario economy and society. Dr. Rina Carlini, Chair of the NanoOntario Communications Committee said, the web-site and the organization itself is about creating community and promoting discovery. By bringing together industry, academic, government and financial stakeholders, members work together to raise the profile, increase the research, build the investment and drive economic returns from nanotechnology
