Invitation to the Canada-United States Regulatory Cooperation Council Final Results Workshop on Nanotechnology

Following Prime Minister Harper and President Obama’s announcement of the Canada United-States Regulatory Cooperation Council in February 2011, Canada and the United States have been working to better align their regulatory approaches in a number of areas, including nanotechnology.

Since we are nearing the completion of the RCC Nanotechnology Work Plan, we invite you to join us as we report on our accomplishments and discuss next steps regarding regulatory cooperation between the two countries on nanomaterials.

A RCC Nanotechnology Final Results Workshop will be held in Washington, D.C. at the U.S. EPA Headquarters, William Jefferson Clinton Building East, 1201 Constitution Ave NW, room 1153 on January 14, 2014 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST. The day’s proceedings will also be broadcast via webinar.

Interested stakeholders are requested to confirm their attendance by sending an email to rccnanoccr@ec.gc.ca no later than January 6th, 2014. Please specify whether you will be attending in person or via webinar.

A follow-up email with logistical and webinar details will be sent to respondents in advance of the workshop.
