Consultation on Environment Canada/Health Canada New Substances Program Advisory Note on Nanomaterials

Environment Canada and Health Canada have prepared a draft Advisory Note to provide guidance to notifiers regarding the assessment of nanomaterials under the New Substances Notification Regulations (Chemicals and Polymers) of the Canadian Environmental Act, 1999 (CEPA 1999). Advisory notes are prepared to clarify certain aspects of the New Substances Notification Program for the benefit of individuals responsible for complying with the New Substances Notification Regulations.
